Description
Butanone is a colourless liquid with a strong, sweet smell. It is mainly used as a cleaning agent and solvent. Often it is processed in glue as a plasticizer. Our employees have the necessary knowledge and expertise to answer your questions and to think along with you in a solution-oriented way.
Butanone, also known as methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), is an organic compound with the formula CH3C(O)CH2CH3. This colourless liquid ketone has a sharp, sweet odor reminiscent of acetone. It is produced industrially on a large scale, but occurs in nature only in trace amounts. It is partially soluble in water, and is commonly used as an industrial solvent. It is an isomer of another solvent, tetrahydrofuran.
We want to unburden you entirely in the purchase of chemical raw materials. We do this by providing contact beyond just answering questions, flexible delivery and transparency.
